So college is over. I have a job in a new city, and therefore a new apartment. Time to use those photography skills! With the help of my mom, I've been designing the space. I wanted it to be warm and welcoming, and I thought of my mom's mom, and how her country house was perfect. Also, I feel that the way your furniture is placed does affect your daily routine. I have been trying to incorporate the practices of feng shui, mainly in how I arrange my furniture and what kind of colors I use. I have three pictures up now. However, most of them are snap shots *sigh* Thankfully, I have a new model *holds up brother's new dog* and he will have a gallery dedicated to him and only him. The dog, not my brother.

so yeah, after several nights of designing a stupid newspaper, becoming sadly my best work, apparently it wasn't enough, because the staff received a four page complaint about what was wrong with it, two pages about design. i wanted to cry. we're about to lose all our staff b/c no one will put in the hours needed except for me and the editor, and it still isn't enough. what makes it worse is that i twisted my ankle, so i can't even take pictures, the one thing that i love doing except writing, and it's possibly broken. i'm this close to quitting, but if i do, the newspaper goes to shit, and that's what matters to me. not the staff except m
